Although, at one point, it looked as though she was on her way to winning, Lil Kim was finally booted from Tuesday (May 5) night's "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC.
Since the season's premiere, the 34-year-old rapper received high scores, but on Monday's performance -- in which she did the waltz -- viewers didn't vote for her ... enough.
Kim came into Tuesday's results show with the week's second-lowest score: 52 points out of 60. Rodeo champ Ty Murray was in last with 46 points, but viewers kept him there for next week's semifinal round.
"There was a real shock in the room," said host Tom Bergeron, regarding Kim's departure.
Along with Kim, her professional partner, Derek Hough, also saw his season come to an end. He did, however, win last season with Brooke Burke, so it's not all bad for him.
"She's an amazing person, an amazing soul, an amazing spirit and an amazing dancer," Hough said of Kim.
Despite losing, Kim had a smile on her face when she learned her fate.
"This is one of the greatest experiences I've ever experienced in my life," she said, adding that she expanded the hit show's viewership, "because I brought people who never watched the show."
In addition to TY, actor Gilles Marini, Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and "The Bachelor" star Melissa Rycroft will face off during next week's semifinal round.
