Ever since he broke the news that Lil Wayne was working on a rock album, which he was helping with, Canadian rapper Drake has become one of the genre's most promising stars.
Then, he followed up by dropping a critically acclaimed mixtape titled So Far Gone, featuring guest spots by Weezy as well.
Although his star is shining bright, Drake never thought he'd ever make it this far. In a recent interview with JoeBuddenTV, the rapper revealed his amazement.
"I feel humbled man. I'm honored. It's great. I definitely never thought it would go this far," the rapper explained.
The down to Earth added that he's not with the dissing and beefing that hip-hop brings with it.
"Diss me, you'll never get a reply," he explained.
On that note, Drake continued, addressing the rumored beef between him and rising rapper Kid Cudi. There is no beef ... whatsoever, according to Drake.
"They keep trying to create a problem between me and Cudi. I love that guy, man ... I listen to his music. This new generation, I'm praying that we manage to all co-exist," Drake said.
He is officially signed to Interscope Records.
