After last week's season-three finale of "Making the Band 4" last week, it was made clear the members of Danity Kane were no longer a working group.
After Aubrey, D. Woods and Shannon Bex were dismissed during last season's finale, it was Dawn and Aundrea left as the sole members. But, after this season, Miss Dawn Richard was the final member left standing, who Diddy wanted to continue working with.
Despite her dismissal, D. Woods tells MTV this week that she's already hard at work, and fans can expect new music from her very soon.
"I'm currently working on an album now," Woods told MTV News. "I have a single that will be released in late spring, early summer. I've been doing a lot of studio work for myself and writing for other artists and projects."
Additionally, the former DK member is also trying to expand her resume. While some singers try to brand into the acting side of things, Woods is taking it a step further, as she tries her hand at writing for both TV and film.
"I'm putting on my little executive-producer hat. I've been pitching material," she said. "I have a background in theater and acting. I'm really excited. I've been making new opportunities."
As far as Danity Kane, the singer says a reunion is highly unlikely, but says never say never. If it did happen, Woods says things would have to change.
"I think the situation would have to be right," she tells MTV. "I'm moving on to the next grade."
