Snoop Dogg showed up in Las Vegas on Monday (April 20), the weed holiday, to unveil his new wax figure at the world famous Madame Tussauds at the Venetian.
With the unveiling, he became the first living rapper to be immortalized in wax. Before his addition, only Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. had been added to the famous museum's roster of wax celebrities.
"What better way to celebrate 4/20 than to put yourself in wax?" Snoop Dogg asked the Las Vegas Weekly.
During a private unveiling at Madame Tussauds, Snoop was greeted with rounds of applause, while his hit single "Who Am I? (What's My Name?)" bellowed out of the speakers.
His statue now lives in the museum's "On Stage" area.
During the unveiling, Snoop Dogg wore an identical outfit of his wax counterpart -- Dark Converse Chuck Taylors, tan pants with a black bandana hanging from the left pocket, a white T-shirt and a Long Beach Loyals team jacket from his clothing line "Rich and Infamous." -- which he provided himself.
36-year-old Snoop was impressed with how close the sculpters came to matching him: "It's kind of scary ... it looks just like me."
