NFL Star Michael Vick Searches For Reality Show Deal

With Octomom and former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevic possibly getting their own reality shows, another celeb -- who also shouldn't get the TV spotlight -- is getting his own blog of time on reality TV.
That celeb is dog fighting NFL star Michael Vick.
Vick, who is currently serving a 23-month sentence for his role in a dogfighting conspiracy, has reportedly landed a $600,000 deal, according to E! News, to star in his own unscripted reality series, once he's released from federal prison.
Filming is said to start on July 20, and will follow him as he seeks to "make amends for his past," including starting work at a $10-an-hour construction job as he applies for reinstatement in the NFL.
The Hollywood Reporter says that producers courted Vick behind bars and are shopping the series to cable outlets like A&E and Spike TV.
Other reports indicate that the $600,000 figure is on the low side of what Vick is seeking. Vick, who reportedly owes millions to creditors, is seeking a high-dollar figure for his participation in the show.

If he killed a human he would still be locked up so this question wouldn't even be asked. Hopefully, he turns his life around...someone has to support his dumb ass brother.

if he killed seven human beings himself he'd be doin life, no way around it... but he didn't do that, he beat, electrocuted, and drowned seven dogs... and he did a year of easy time in minimum security... if he gets a reality show then any criminal behind bars for any crime is deserving of one... i know my dogs are as important to me as my family... you others motherfuckers are soulless supporting this fool, most of VA's not behind him

m vick. needs to focus on getting mental help. He may be done with his incarceration but the guy has issues. Anyone who finds torturning innocent animals a fun hobby really needs to fix their brain. How about taking up golf or poker????? Why the heck do stupid idiots stand around watching dogs rip each other apart????? That is just weird and crazy!

A second chance. That is all you hear with Vick. He has had about 30 chances since his playing at Tech. THIS IS NOT A SECOND CHANCE! I hope I see him flipping burgers or back in prison.

He doesn't need a reality show if he wants to make amends. There is already enough BS on television. If he really wanted to do so, he should be supporting animal shelters, talking at schools, and talking in communities where dog fighting is a problem.

I eat dogs for breakfast....i dont eat people though....lol...but real talk, you cant place a dog on the same level as a human being. You might as well place all your pets on the same level then. Mike Vick served his time...even though he shouldve never served that much in the beginning. If you all are passionate about dogs, why dont you go to you neighborhood animal shelter and adopt a couple of em because many are getting murdered (euthanized) every single day.

I love MV. Always have. I do believe sentence was way too stif. Come on now, where talking about dogs, not another human, dog! That being said, no way should he allowed to profit for committing violent criminal acts.I wouldn't watch this show but if he played football I'd watch him there.
