Rapper Flesh-N-Bone, of the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, was ordered to remain behind bars, following an arraignment on a gun and drug possession charge earlier this week.
According to local AM radio station KHTS, the rapper (real name: Stanley Howse) appeared in court on Thursday (April 16), where his defense attorney presented information that required further investigation.
Flesh was arrested at the beginning of the month in Santa Clarita, Calif. by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies for a non-functional brake light. Since the rapper is currently on parole -- after serving 7 1/2 years in prison and being released in July 2008 -- his car, as well as his home, was subjected to a search.
During the search police found a 9-millimeter semiautomatic pistol, and was charged with gun possession by a felon, in addition to a misdemeanor drug possession.
Flesh pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday (April 13).
He remains in custody at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles.
