Nate Dogg caught a break in court recently, when criminal charges against him, including stalking and terrorist threats against his estranged wife, were dropped.
According to the Associated Press, California prosecutors on Wednesday (April 15) dropped the charges against the 38-year-old rapper (real name: Nathaniel Dwayne Hale), stating that the victim had not contacted them.
Nate Dogg pleaded not guilty in July 2008 to two counts of making criminal threats and one count of stalking, as well as a misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license, stemming from a prior DUI conviction.
The charges stem from an arrest in June 2008, where he was accused of sending his wife a pair of emails, and later chasing her on a California freeway.
She said while driving down the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, Nate was making death threats and "dangerously" following her as she drove at around 8:30 a.m.
