Rapper N.O.R.E., of Capone-N-Noreaga fame, welcomed a new addition to his family Thursday morning (April 9) -- a brand new baby boy.

The rapper headed to the hospital early Thursday morning, tweeting along the way, giving fans updates via his official Twitter page.

At around 5:50 a.m., his girlfriend began having contractions, and the couple headed for the hospital. By the day's end, his son was born.

"I will never go. I'm the same room where a baby being born again in my life," N.O.R.E. wrote. "I'm so glad I'm not a women. Never again will I go to labor, it's a boyeeeee!!!! Y'all."

While men usually faint in the delivery room, the rapper says he almost fainted even before that because of shock.

"I heard of fainting in emergency room I was gonna faint in the crib though, sh**," he said.

A happy N.O.R.E. and his girlfriend are back at home in Miami, resting and enjoying their new bundle of joy.

"Had a baby boyee yesterday!!!" he wrote early Friday morning. "The NORE n**** happy!!!"

At press time, the mother was unknown, as well as if this is N.O.R.E.'s first child.
