Milwaukee Bucks forward, Charlie Villanueva, was sued on Thursday (April 9) in Milwaukee for an alleged bar brawl in a local nightclub last year.
According to TMZ, the 6'11" ball player is accused of launching a "completely unprovoked" attack on Daniel Fischer at a Milwaukee nightclub last February, beating him so badly, he's still suffering.
In court documents, Fischer claims the beating was so severe that he "will continue to suffer from pain, suffering and disability for the rest of his life."
At press time, it was unclear as to the amount in damages the man is seeking.
In other Villanueva news, the 24-year-old Bucks forward recently touched off some controversy over his Twitter addiction.
According to the National Post, Bucks head coach Scott Skiles came down on Charlie when he discovered that he had updated his Twitter page in the team's locker room during halftime of a game a few weeks ago.
After finding out Skiles confront Villanueva, and informed him that "halftime was not a time to log on to Twitter." Villanueva took the message to heart.
He's since followed coach's orders, but continues to Twitter away in his off time, where he about the NBA of course, we as well how much he "misses mom's cooking," and has "luv for Shaq."
(Shaq, who tweeted during halftime of a Phoenix-Washington game on Monday, didn't send the same love back though. "Attention all twitterers," he wrote before the game. "I'ma tweet at halftime and not get fined like vill a new wave a whteva his name is.")
