Former 3LW and Cheetah Girls member, Adrienne Bailon, is now looking to do the music thing solo, as she signs a deal with Island Def Jam.
According to Rap-Up.com, the 25-year-old singer announced the news the way everyone is doing it these days -- via Twitter.
On her official Twitter page (Twitter.com/Adrienne_Bailon), an excited Adrienne revealed let fans know about her new home.
"For everyone who wasn't in [New York] -- I officially announced I have signed a solo deal with Island Def Jam! So, happy I'm finally able to tell you guys," she wrote.
With tons of positive replies, she later thanked fans.
"All my Twitt fam!! I love you guys ... Thank you so much for all your love and support. It means so much to me."
Further details regarding the deal, and her upcoming Def Jam debut were not available at press time.
Currently, Adrienne hosts a two-hour block of afternoon programming on MTV titled "New Afternoons on MTV." The show was created to fill the gap left by the cancellation of video countdown show "TRL."
