After lying low since the alleged assault of Rihanna in early February, Chris Brown is finally due back in court to enter a plea to charges he faces -- including assault and making criminal threats.
The 19-year-old is scheduled in a Los Angeles courtroom on Monday (April 6) to answer to charges, two months after he allegedly assaulted his 21-year-old girlfriend Rihanna during an early morning argument in Los Angeles before the Grammys.
Both musicians were scheduled to perform, but canceled the day of.
Rumors say that Brown's legal team is working with prosecutors for a possible plea deal, but this has yet to be confirmed.

If convicted to charges of assault, Brown could face almost five years in prison.
The AP reports that Rihanna is not expected to attend the proceedings.
