SupremeBeing has released a new collection of street worthy apparel and accessories. This season, the brand's efforts have been concentrated into a tighter range that offers a plentiful blend of patterns, textures and colors across the core themes. The keywords for this new collection are "street chic," "utility" and "sport & street" -- the latter clearly being translated into items like the grey Ortodox Hood Heather and striped Gamut Track jacket. The Gamut Track is the pride of the company and an elite member of the sport and street range. SupremeBeing re-introduced this bestseller in new and improved colorways. The jacket has a hex-ripstop upper paneling and polyester body, angled pocketing openings and effective chest embroidery.

Just like last season, SupremeBeing has been investing a lot of time in developing some elegant pieces for the ladies too, such as the Owl. Adidas Ipanema, Curibita and Suria sunglasses
Price: $129,95
Buy it: Adidas Store
These three new Adidas Original models absorb the glamour and flair of the 50s and 60s with ease, and bring them back up-to-date with an ironic twist. Thanks to their innovative form and design, the Ipanema, Curibita and Suria metallic edition models reflect the style of their young, creative fans, carving a path for themselves through the urban landscapes. They skillfully juggle various different components -- music, sport and everyday life. The shades derive their name from the lifestyle of a young and trendy city district. Ipanema is a beach in Rio de Janeiro, which has long outstripped Copacabana in the coolness stakes. The design of the Ipanema is replacing classic forms with new ideas: the large curved shield and elegant frame design are inspired by 60s stars such as Audrey Hepburn, whereas the pattern on the inside of the temple reflects that of earlier Adidas collections.

The Curitiba model is named after an up-and-coming metropolis in the South of Brazil, and exudes a similar sense of cleverness and openness. These unisex shades combine the classic Buddy Holly look of the 50s with the liveliness of a metropolis, which is defined by both design precision and tropical relaxation.
The Suria sunglasses, star of the Adidas Originals eyewear collection, were awarded the red dot Design Award 2008 in the category of "jewelry, fashion and lifestyle," and represent another highlight of this smartness: the temple design is based on the sole design of the legendary adilette sandals and is coated in a gold or silver foil with the shield in the relevant color with a metallic reflective surface. The end result combines a subtle fashion statement with a striking symbol, the pride referred to by Run DMC in "My Adidas", which you can now rock on your temple in gold and silver, but without too much bling.

Modern Amusement Artist Series and Camp Jacket
Price: Artist Series shirts $29
Buy It: ModernAmusement.com
Modern Amusement is a Californian brand inspired by art, music, technology and design. The brand is known for showcasing graphic sensibility and intelligent sense of humor on tees, and is introducing the Artist Series -- a wearable art collection. Each season, Modern Amusement will add to the series by releasing a new design from a range of global designers. The first part of the collection features designs by Brooklyn's Jonathan Cammisa and L.A based Eric Nyquist, who put their own unique twist on the brand's trademark crow logo. Eric Nyquist merges industrial and organic styles in his detail drawings; with each one the viewer is forced to get up close to study overlooked details. While the details create complex imagery, they also reference an increasing dependence on technology and its ability to distribute information. The black shirt shows his interpretation of the Modern Amusement's crow, which perfectly reflects his signature style. Jonathan Cammisa's illustrations are dark, morbid and beautiful at the same time. The white shirt he did for Modern Amusement is as unsettling as a horror movie. Jonathan is currently looking to "expand his flannel collection and taking more hikes" and his representation of the x-ray of a smiling crow witnesses this mix of humor and darker inspirations.

Another nice piece from Modern Amusement's Spring '09 collection is the Camp Jacket. This orange/blue checked jacket has blue/black striped lining throughout, with a screen printed signature logo of a crow in contrast color printed on it. Definitely keep an eye out for Modern Amusement, because they have a great mix of laid-back outfits, fresh designs and colorful schemes coming.
