Last week it was "America Idol" original, Kelly Clarkson, with the no. 1 album, and its the same this week. While she holds down the top spot, other artists are moving and dropping.
After debuting at no. 2 last week, The-Dream slipped to two spots to no. 4 this week with Love Vs. Money, selling 56,000 copies in its second week.
Right behind him is Lady GaGa's album Fame with 50,000 copies sold.
Then, in at no. 8 was this week's highest debut. Gorilla Zoe's sophomore set, Don't Feed Da Animals, managed to land at no. 8 with 31,000 copies sold. His 2007 debut, Welcome to the Zoo, debuted and peaked at no. 18, actually selling more -- 35,000 to open.
Behind Zoe is Beyonce's I Am ... Sasha Fierce dipping to no. 9 with 27,000, while Jamie Foxx's Intuition rounds out the top 10 with 24,000 units scanned.
At no. 11, rap group Twiztid earned its highest chart debut, holding down the no. 11 spot with their seventh studio album, W.I.C.K.E.D., shifting 23,000 units.
Much, much later down the line, at no. 136, Capone-N-Noreaga comeback album, Channel 10, sold just over 4,000 copies to open. It's their first album together since 2000's The Reunion, which went on to reach gold sales.
According to Billboard.com, sales this week are down 7% compared to the sum last week (6.63 million) and down 31% compared to the same sales week of 2008 (8.84 million). Year to date album sales stand at 83.6 million, down 14% compared to the same total at this point last year (96.8 million).
