Stadium Entertainment, a newly-created independent music label and entertainment company, has forged an exclusive distribution agreement for its slate of upcoming album releases with EMI Music.
The company sets itself apart from other emerging independent record companies, with the majority of Stadium's releases providing a revenue stream that will raise funds for a select list of grassroots and philanthropic organizations. With this mission and its focus on philanthropy, they plan to generate projects featuring award-winning, gold and platinum recording artists.
Stadumn's first compilation, titled True To The Game, Volume 1, will benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM).
"We are all pleased about the opportunity to work in tandem with EMI, which will give our projects a broad audience and propel Stadium forward in its mission to create viable revenue streams and enhance the fundraising efforts of carefully selected philanthropic organizations," stated Stadium's co-founders, Camille Barbone and Gary Katz. "Today's economic crisis has created a drastic decline in contributions for so many charities who are suffering around the world. We understand that it's important to help worthy non-profit organizations to support their goals to improve the lives of those in need."
The forthcoming album drops on Tuesday (March 24), and will feature the likes of Yung Joc, Kanye West, Big Boi, Talib Kweli, T-Pain and Macy Gray among its list of 14 tracks.
The current single, "Big Screen," features Kanye West and his artist GLC. Simultaneously, a new track titled "Still Hurts", by Macy Gray and Marsha Ambrosious, has been serviced to radio stations across the country.
The album's final tracklist is as follows:
"Knock It Out Da' Park" - Yung Joc
