Rapper Eminem, guitar legend Jimmy Page and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones are just a few of the people tapped to act as presenters for the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony to be held in April.

After 600 voters entered their entered ballots, Run DMC and Metallica are among others to be inducted on April 4 at Public Auditorium in Cleveland.

Eminem will induct Run DMC, while Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers will induct Metallica.

The Hall of Fame honor is only eligible to artists 25 years after their first recording.

Run DMC's first self-titled album came in 1984 and peaked at no. 53 on the Billboard 200. From there, the group became one of the biggest hip-hop acts through the 80s and has gone on to become not only legends in the genre, but also pioneers.

The trio -- consisting of DJ Run (aka Rev. Run), DMC, and Jam Master Jay -- enjoyed their biggest hit to date in 1986 when they released the rap-rock single "Walk This Way" with Aerosmith.

Jam Master Jay was killed in Jamaica, Queens recording studio in October 2002.
