Despite reports by the New York Daily News that Rihanna has been in talks for several film roles -- including a remake of the 1992 film, "The Bodyguard," starring Whitney Houston -- her reps say otherwise.
The paper's reports come as the singer surfaced in New York over the weekend attending numerous "business meetings." In addition to "The Bodyguard" role, an insider -- who spilled the beans to the paper -- said RiRi was considering roles in a "Charlie's Angels" sequel, as well as a starring role alongside Justin Timberlake.
A rep for Rihanna denied the reports to MTV, and further stated that she isn't currently in talks for any of the aforementioned films.
There were other reports last week that Rihanna had been in the studio with Chris Brown, recording a duet. However, the track in question was actually a demo of the song "Bad Girl" that the pair recorded with Polow Da Don last summer.
MTV says was recorded by the Pussycat Dolls for the recently released "Confessions of a Shopaholic" soundtrack.
