Cam'ron is back, readying a new album. Jim Jones is readying a new album, and Juelz is promoting his Skull Gang crew. Is there a chance for the entire Dipset family to reunite? According to Cam, possibly. But, the money has to be situated first.
Although he's said in several interviews as of late that "he's doing Cam right now," the rapper recently stated that you can't rule out a Diplomats reunion ... if the "money's right."
"As far as the Diplomats, I'm a majority owner of the Diplomats," Cam said in an interview with True. "The role I am is the CEO. As far as with my friends, you talking about Jim, they also have ownership in the company, also. I mean, right now ... for me, if the money's right, I'll do [a reunion]. It's all about having the right money and making sure everything's cool. Just to do it just to do it would be kinda phony. You know, if the money's right, we can put anything into motion. But the money's gotta be right."
Jones also had similar feelings when asked the same question. He didn't rule a possible reunion out, but said business definitely outweighs their friendship by a long shot.
"Amongst anything, peoples are just waiting for the get-back. Besides the friendship, the business at this point is worth more than anything because we both have families and the money can be worth a lot more than any friendship," Jones said in an interview with Three Maigos DVD. "If we can put our equals aside and settle our difference and make some good business then, that's worth it for me."
Jones just dropped a brand new video from his forthcoming album, Pray IV Reign, due out later this month The single's titled "Na Na Nana Na Na." And Cam, he's readying his long awaited next album Crime Pays, reportedly set for May.
