Kanye West is at it again. During a recent raping of VH1's "Storytellers," the rapper reportedly dissed rockers Radiohead and publicly stated that people should give Chris Brown "a break."

But, according to Reuters, his onstage rans did not make the final cut when it aired the episode on the channel on Saturday (February 28).

Despite his controversial comments ending up on VH1's cutting room floor, executive producer Bill Flanagan says there's no political conspiracy against the rapper.

"A lot of the stories that Kanye told went long," Flanagan told Reuters. this week. "I tried to get to the essence of his comments."

The show features artists playing their songs in an intimate setting while sharing tidbits with audience members about how they were written. Reuters says that during the taping, West felt that Radiohead singer Thom Yorke had allegedly snubbed him backstage at the Grammys just five days earlier, which he said hurt him because the band are idols to him.

"So when he performed at the Grammys, I sat the f*** down," West explained.

Then, later on during the performance, he asked "Can't we give Chris a break? ... I know I make mistakes in life." Then also asked if a couple different Michaels could gets breaks as well. "Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing ... He's a real f***in' person; he makes mistakes."

The Brown reference was in regard to his highly-publicized fight with girlfriend Rihanna nearly two weeks ago, while the Phelps reference is related to the controversy surrounding photos of the Olympic star smoking marijuana.

West performed 14 songs during the entire taping, including "Touch The Sky," "Stronger", and tracks from his latest album 808s and Heartbreak.
