Boston Celtics guard Gabe Pruitt was arrested in Los Angeles early Thursday morning (February 26) on suspicion of a DUI, according to reports.
TMZ reports that the 22-year-old guard was pulled over shortly after 3:00 a.m. in Hollywood. Police say the NBA player failed a field sobriety test, and was subsequently arrested.
He was booked at the Los Angeles County Jail, and charged with suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence.
Pruitt posted $5,000 bail and was released.
Just hours earlier, his team played the Los Angeles Clippers, and lost 93-91. The ball player scored just three points in the loss.
He is the Los Angeles area, and played college basketball for the USC Trojans.
