T-Pain has reportedly canceled a concert he was scheduled to perform in Guyana, after receiving threats on his life.
According to the Associated Press, Mr. Auto-Tune had fears for his life from what a promoter called "credible death and kidnapping threats."
Promoter Kerwin Bollers told the AP over the weekend that Monday's performance for Carnival celebrations was called off after they received e-mail and phone threats from an unidentified source.
Police were called in, and there is an investigation underway. However, a press time, there was no further information regarding the threat.
If T-Pain were to perform, he would have been one of the most famous U.S. artists to perform in the region in years.
