Singers Chris Brown and Rihanna have been the talk of the nation, since Sunday's domestic spat between the couple. New details are continuing to surface, and here's the latest.
According to a report from TMZ.com, Rihanna has told investigators that Brown's violence has been ongoing -- and escalating. However, details regarding the prior abuse allegations have not been disclosed.
Brown's camp has yet to comment.
Both stars are stuck in Los Angeles, separately, as police continue their investigation into further charges on Brown, specifically a possible felony domestic assault charge.
The Associated Press reports that charges aren't expected this week, while prosecutors continue to provide information about the incident at the request of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
It's been revealed that the fight that took place following a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles Sunday night (February 8) began after Brown received a text message from another woman while the couple was driving in a rented Lamborghini around Hancock Park.
An argument ensued, and then escalated into a physical fight, which resulted in Rihanna suffering bruises and bite marks. At some point, Brown even shouted out "I'm going to kill you," according to TMZ.
A witness dialed 911, but when police arrived Brown had fled.
He later turned himself into police, and was charged with making criminal threats, but could face felony domestic assault charges.
