Snoop Dogg announced Tuesday (February 10) a brand new multi-platform deal with MTV, that will include a variety show, a new album, and inclusion in the "Rock Band" videogame franchise.

According to MTV News, the rapper will host his own show called "Dogg After Dark," a variety show filmed at Los Angeles nightclub Kress, where Snoop will interview celebs and showcase comedy skits and musical performances.

The show is scheduled to air every Tuesday night, starting February 17 at 9 p.m. for seven consecutive weeks.

The music part of the deal will see MTV involved in the global distribution and promotion of Snoop's upcoming album, Malice in Wonderland, which is expected to feature Dr. Dre, and Pharrell. The album is due later this year.

"When [MTV Networks Music/ Films/ Logo Groups President] Van Toffler and I sat down boss to boss, a global quintuple threat takeover was masterminded," Snoop said in a statement. "As the world of entertainment keeps changing, we felt it was the right time to let Snoop Dogg back on MTV, so we could continue to run thangs with music, movies, DVDs and bring hip-hop to 'Rock Band.'

"So screw ya wigz on tight and tune in on Tuesday nights for the first step to the next level of Snoop D-O-double-G. 'Dogg After Dark' is the only nightclub TV show hosted by you-know-who. So take a journey with me through the mind, body, soul and musical mind state of the most prolific, authentic game spitter. And tha sh** is funny, so show me da money," he continued.

Music from Snoop's catalog will also be included in MTV's "Rock Band" video game.
