Diddy's "Making The Band" is set to return February 12, and as most already know, members Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods, won't be present, because they were fired by Diddy during last season's finale.
However, according to a report from MTV.com, Shannon Bex won't be on the show either, meaning the end of Danity Kane, as of right now. "As of right now, [Danity Kane doesn't exist]," Dawn Richard told MTV this week. "It's devastating for me."
According to Dawn, the show will consist of herself and Aundrea trying to "pick of the pieces" by themselves, but in the end, they can't do it.
"You'll see me and Drea [Aundrea Fimbres] try and pick up the pieces on our own [on this season's show] -- pieces that we didn't even make," she explained. "We didn't even break it and we're trying to sweep it up ourselves. Puff invited all the girls to come back on this season and they chose not to. Only two of us showed up. That's fine if that's the choice.
"It changes [our situation] completely," Dawn continued. "We have fans out there who love Danity Kane. We love Danity Kane. It's hard. We're sitting here trying to make sense of it now. It's hard. We're put in this position that we didn't ask to be in and we're being told to fix it."
While Aubrey and D. Woods left and are planning to pursue their own solo careers, Dawn wasn't sure why Shannon chose to leave too, and didn't discuss the matter with MTV.
However, when they first showed up on set to film the new season of "Making The Band," she said they were just as surprised as everyone else when her and Aundrea were the only ones there.
"We are the only two that showed up," she said. "The thing about it ... I thought we were all going to come back and talk, or maybe if Aubrey didn't come back, 'cause I don't know how Puff was feeling about that, if the four of us got together. I didn't know what to expect. I just know I got off the plane and found out I was the only one there and Drea came the next day."
Despite the situation, Dawn showed up every day on set. But as far as the group, she says she's still trying to recover and is currently confused about it all.
"I'm still surprised at it all. I'm still trying to recover from the first fire," Dawn said, referring to the dismissal of Aubrey and D. Woods. "So I'm still confused. I still don't know. I'm just being so honest. I have no idea."
