Murs and Guerilla Union have announced the return of the Paid Dues indie hip-hop festival this March to Southern California.
For the fourth consecutive year, the event -- which has been dubbed "independent hip-hop's premiere festival -- will be held at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California on March 28th.
This year's line-up includes headliners Atmosphere and Tech N9ne, with supporting acts consisting of Living Legends, Brother Ali, Cage, LMNO, and Eyedea & Abilities, among others. And the Visionaries' 2Mex has been tapped to host.
"This year's Paid Dues line-up is very special to me because we have acts like Tech N9ne and Atmosphere, who I've been big fans of and also trying to book forever," said Murs of the annual event. "The show also marks the So-Cal return of [Eyedea & Abilitie], who haven't played the NOS since the legendary Wu-Tang reunion at the 2004 Rock The Bells. Cage, B-Real and [The Grouch and Eligh] all have new records dropping this spring."
With three years of history already since first launching Paid Dues, Murs reflects. "I just can't believe this is our fourth year! I am so thankful to all our family, friends and supporters. And I look forward to making this March 28th another great and memorable moment in hip-hop history."
Guerilla Union founder, Chang Weisberg, is also excited, saying this year should be the festival's biggest to date. "I can't wait to see all these acts. I truly believe this is the biggest and best line-up yet..." he says.
All three Paid Dues events in So Cal have been sold out.
