He was already sidelined with a sore knee after Monday night's (January 12) game against the New Orleans Hornets, but now, the New York Knicks' Eddy Curry has something else to worry about -- a sexual harassment suit.
According to the New York Post, a limo has slapped Curry with the suit, claiming the 6'11" ball player tried to solicit gay sex from him.
In court papers, filed by chauffeur David Kuchinsky in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday (January 13), Curry -- a married father of several kids -- is accused of repeatedly approaching Kuchinsky "in the nude," saying, "Look at me, Dave, look" and, "Come and touch it, Dave."
The 26-year-old Knicks center also allegedly made Kuchinsky perform "humiliating tasks outside the scope of his employment, such as cleaning up and removing dirty towels [into which Curry had ejaculated] so that his wife would not see them," the lawsuit said.
If that wasn't enough, Kuchinsky, who is straight and Jewish, also accused Curry of racism, saying that he called him several slurs, including "f***ing Jew," "cracker," "white slave," "white devil" and "grandmaster of the KKK."
So far, Curry is denying the accusations outright, saying he was "shocked" when he first learned of it. "It's false, and everyone who knows me, knows I'm not a racist," Curry told the NY Posts. "I've never made a comment like that, playing, or nothing. ... That's incredible, man."
Kuchinsky is seeking $98,000 plus compensatory damages in the lawsuit. His attorney said that damage claims typically can go up to $5 million in state court.
