T-Pain is already one of the main go-to guys in music, period, but he wants more. The auto-tune singer is reportedly planning to go outside the box, and try a country collabo ... with Tim McGraw.
According to E!, Pain has already talked to the country superstar, and wants to get into the studio ASAP.
"We talked about getting in the studio together, so that's probably going to happen soon," Pain told E! "I definitely think we could do something cool and different."
McGraw has already collaborated with hip-hop star Nelly for his single "Over And Over," and is said to have recorded one for Chris Brown's upcoming album titled "Human."
Pain, however, says their work in the studio will be much different. "The hip-hop has been done with Tim and Nelly, so we gotta be more country than hip-hop," Pain said.
He went on to explain that McGraw may have not been his first choice, as far as collaborations with country artists go. Pain said he was interested in working with another country star, but he didn't reach out because he "heard he was a racist."
