There was a few new releases in the urban category this week, but it was Britney and Taylor Swift who hold the top two spots.
Coming in at no. 3 though is Beyonce's I Am ... Sasha Fierce album, who holds the spot for the second week with 159,000 copies sold. The album is now certified platinum.
Falling outside the top 5 is Kanye West's latest, 808s and Heartbreak, sliding to no. 5 with 127,000 copies sold, putting his total at over 700,000 copies sold.
As far as debuts, singer Musiq Soulchild's OnMyRadio opened at no. 11 this week with 91,000 units scanned. Before this release, the singer had two no. 1s, including his last effort, 2007's Luvanmusiq.
Right behind Musiq is Common's newest, Universal Mind Control. The album lands at no. 12 with 82,000. The new release follows up his 2007 album, Finding Forever, which peaked at no. 1.
Other new releases included Brandy's return with Human, landing at no. 15 with 73,000 copies sold; and Avant's fifth, self-titled album at no. 26 with 52,000.
That does it for the top 20.
Stay tuned next week, as new releases come from Soulja Boy, Jamie Foxx and Anthony Hamilton.
