Since separating from his wife Mashonda earlier this year, producer Swizz Beatz has endured much from the rumor mill which has been churning claims that Alicia Keys was the reason for the couple's break-up.

While he already dismissed the claims back in June, Swizzy and Alicia item rumors continued to spread. He recently told USMagazine.com that the claims that Keys had anything to do with helping dissolve his marriage is completely false.

"I can no longer ignore the harmful rumors, that my friend Alicia Keys is in any way linked to my marital circumstances or to the decision that [my wife] Mashonda and I have made to separate," Beatz said.

"I am disappointed that some have chosen to try and tarnish Alicia's reputation by irresponsibly implicating her in a situation that she has absolutely nothing to do with," he continued.

Swizz says the separation from Mashonda has been one of the hardest things he's had to go through. Being a private person, he's asks that his privacy be respected.

"This experience has been one of the most difficult times in my life, and as was stated when we announced our separation several months ago, I ask that you continue to respect my privacy in dealing with this personal matter," Beatz said.

Aside from his personal life, he's staying busy in his professional life as well. According to US, Swizzy is currently preparing an art show to benefit the Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation.
