Kanye West was arrested Thursday morning (September 11) at the LAX International Airport, following an altercation with paparazzi. According to reports, West was charged with felony vandalism, while West's bodyguard was charged with battery. Both remained in police custody at press time.

While an airport spokesperson confirmed that the incident involved paparazzi, further detailed were not divulged.

However, TMZ says that West became angry when he noticed a photographer snapping pictures of him. The rapper confronted the photog, grabbed his camera, and threw it to the ground.

While the still photographer screamed for police, a TMZ cameraman was videotaping the incident. West's bodyguard walked up to him, telling him to give over the camera. When he didn't comply, he grabbed it from him, and smashed it on the ground.

West then tried to leave to board his plane, but was stopped by airport police, who interviewed West, his bodyguard, and both paparazzi.

When cops asked if they had videotaped the rapper, West reportedly lunged toward the cameraman yelling "Give me the f***ing videotape."
