In support of the upcoming installment of "NBA Live" 2009, EA Sports has made their predictions for the NBA Finals and they have the Lakers on top over the Celtics. As a historic match-up that was last seen 21 years ago, the series lives up to its billing in a seven game thriller, according to the "NBA Live" simulation."
It was NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant who led the charge, averaging 29 points and 6 assists per game throughout the series. With this victory, Phil Jackson set a new record by winning 10 NBA Championships as a coach.

Here's the rundown game by game.
Game 1: The Celtics strike first over the Lakers 105-99 (The real game, Boston took it 98-88). Kevin Garnett is the high man for Boston with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks, while Kobe had 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists.
Game 2: Lakers quiet Celtic fans at Fleet Center winning 96-90. The game's leaders are Paul Pierce with 24 points, and 9 assists, while Kobe Bryant rained down from the 3-point line four times and has 30 points.
Game 3: Lakers dominate at home 109-101. Paul Pierce leads Boston with 23 points and 4 steals, while Kobe has 36 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists.
Game 4: Celtics come back to win 91-88 victory over Lakers. The leaders this game are Ray Allen with 29 points, 6 long range bombs, and 4 assists, while Pau Gasol leads the Lakers with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Game 5: LA leads series by winning Game 5, 95-92. The big men take over Game 5 -- Kevin Garnett with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks, and Pau Gasol with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks.

Game 6: Celtics force Game 7, 98-97. Paul Pierce pushed the isse with 28 points, 6 steals, and 8 assists, while Kobe puts on a performance with 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Game 7: Lakers win NBA Championship, 106-101. Both of the teams' stars give it their all, but despite Kevin Garnett's 29 points, 7 blocks, and 10 rebounds, its Kobe 38 point performance, along with 10 rebounds, and 11 assists for a triple double that wins them the trophy.
EA Sports' "NBA Live 09" is due in stores October 7th.
