Rumors surfaced on the internet over the past few days regarding former Jim Jones affiliate, Max B, where he was supposedly shot and robbed for her jewelry.

Miss Info received conflicted statements from two different publicists claiming to represent the rapper. In one statement, a publicist told the radio personality that Max B had, in fact, been shot, but was not robbed. While the other claimed that nothing had happened and the rapper is fine.

Max B, himself, called into Sohh.com to clear things up a bit.

"Let the people know that I got hit yesterday (March 27)," the rapper told SOHH. "They tired to move on me and I got up out of there. They lightly hit me. It was a little extra, but you know I'm here."

Max's publicist, Joli Oshay, said that despite reports that the rapper was targeted because of his iced out watch, it wasn't a robbery attempt. She refused to divulge furhter details on the incident.

He plans to release a new mixtape, titled Domain Pain, soon.
