Chaos erupted in Galveston, Texas on Sunday (March 16) when multiple fights broke out following a spring break concert featuring Webbie.
According to the Associated Press, a concert called the Spring Break Party Beach Bash, organized by Houston radio station 99.3, turned chaotic, overwhelming local police as they tried to restore order.
Four officers who responded to the scene took almost four hours to clear the streets after the concert, ending with at least 12 people being arrested.
While the four officers were the only ones originally assigned to the area, all of the city's on-duty officers were sent to the help out.
At press time, no injuries were reported.
2 Pistols, Akon's artist Colby O'Donis, and Lil Wil & Lil Keke were also on the bill.
The incident comes on the heels of the release of Webbie's sophomore album, Savage Life 2, which has been enjoying success on the Billboard Rap albums chart, thanks to the success of his hit single "INDEPENDENT."
He is currently on tour through April in support of the album. For further dates, visit him on MySpace at MySpace.com/WebbieSavageLife.
Rapper 2 Pistols is also seeing some success, as his lead single "She Got It" featuring T-Pain, from his forthcoming debut, Death Before Dishonor, begins to gain steam across the country.
