Mariah Carey proved that she's still got it in her latest video "Touch My Body." She can still sing the notes and physically, well, watch the video to see for yourself.

In an interview in Allure magazine's April issue, the singer addressed a few things. For one, how she's managed to maintain her body over the years and why she chooses to flaunt it.

She's proud of her hard work in the gym, specifically with a trainer she flies in from St. Barts.

"This trainer has actually helped me reshape my arms," Carey told Allure. "That's where I gained most of my weight: upper body. That's just one thing you have to lose weight for. With this whole steroid crap, that's crazy. I'm almost on the verge where I'd be too muscular if I was going to do a thing like that."

Despite her smoking body, she admitted that she has a "complete complex" about her body -- and doesn't feel she has to continue to prove that she can sing and/or is smarter than most people think.

"I've been here for years," she said, explained her track record should be enough to prove it.

The pop diva, as she's often described as, also explained that although she dresses sexy, all the time, she's not promiscuous or the sexpot most may think, describing herself as "a freakin' prude."

She goes on to say that she's never had a one night stand and compares herself to the reserved nanny from the 1964 film "Mary Poppins."

"I'm Mary Poppins," she says. "I'm what the buttoned-up girls are supposed to be."

Carey also talks about the kind of person she'd prefer in a relationship, saying it'd have to be some who can "take care of me emotionally," which means they should be in show business as well, to understand "who I am." "That's a big deal for me," she said. "It shouldn't matter, but it does, because the energy it takes to be 'on' is a lot."

The interview is the cover story for Allure's April issue, which hits newsstands March 25.

Carey has been doing press in support of her forthcoming album, E=MC², which is slated for release April 15.
