Police officers were dispatched to an intersection near a club in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday (February 29) when angry fans crowded the area after Lil Boosie didn't show up for a scheduled performance.
According to local media, the Louisiana rapper failed to show for a concert scheduled at Sokol Underground, where nearly 900 concertgoers paid approximately $30 to attend.
When fans were told to exit the venue at 11:00 p.m. without seeing a performance from Boosie, fans turned irate, ripping a ticket booth out of the wall and crowded the streets.
Shortly after, dozens of police were called to the scene to help disperse the crowd, closing down the intersection.
Two individuals were ticketed for disorderly contact in the confusion. No injuries were reported.
At press time, Gary Masek, president of Sokol Omaha Inc., did not know whether or not concert promoters planned to refund ticket sales.
Representatives for Lil Boosie were not immediately available for comment at press time.
