Ill Bill, Tech N9ne Reveal Joint Project
By Miles Bennett ♦ Published 02/18/2008

Brooklyn rapper and former Non Phixion member, Ill Bill, recently announced that he and Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne will release a collaborative album titled Hour Of Reprisal.

The album, which is slated for June, will feature the much talked about collabo track "White N****r," according to HipHopDX, a testament to Bill's marginalization as a Jewish person growing up in a black neighborhood, facing opposition from white and black peers.

It will also include tracks such as "My Uncle," a tribute to Bill's Uncle Howie who has had a long history of drug addiction. Bill's label, Uncle Howie Records, is also named after his infamous uncle.

Production duties for the project includes beats by Bill himself, as well as legends such as DJ Muggs, T-Ray and DJ Premier.

It will be accompanied by a bonus DVD of Bill's last performance at acclaimed punk and hip-hop club in Downtown New York, CBGB's, while its cover art has been designed by Slayer album cover artist Larry Carroll.

The project will be released in a joint effort by Uncle Howie Records and Tech's Strange Music.

Hour Of Reprisal is slated for release June 17.
