R&B singer Monica welcomed a new baby boy on Tuesday (January 8).

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the new born was yet to be named as of Wednesday, but the 27-year-old Atlanta native has decided on Romelo Montez Hill, according to a statement she gave blogger Sandra Rose.

Montez, the baby's middle name, is also the first name of the singer's brother.

"We are all doing very well and truly thank God for our new addition," Monica told SandraRose.com. Lil Rock (her other son) and Romelo mean the world to me, and so do those that support us. Again, thank you and look for my new album Summer 08. God bless you!!"
