Producer Sha Money XL is gearing up for his annual One Stop Shop (OSS) Producer's Conference slated to take place at the beginning of March in Phoenix, Arizona.
The two day event, March 8th and 9th, serves as both a showcase for new production technology and an opportunity for aspiring beat makers to network with seasoned industry vets.
In addition to its regular panel sessions and workshops, the conference will also include video game tournaments, after parties hosted by NYC's most noted DJs, and the infamous One Stop Shop Beat Battle.
Sha has big plans for the yearly meeting of industry folk, and sees it as one of the future's top meetings each year.
"The future of the One Stop Shop is growth. I want this to go down in hip-hop history and be a major conference like Mixshow Power Summit, R&R, Sema or Midem," he said. "I want to continue to let new producers find their way through this industry and learn just who the key players are and what networking is about."
He also sees the One Stop Shop as a great resource for information for producer, who he says are just like artists these days.
"Money Management Group (Sha's producer/artist management company) teaches producers and artists the importance of branding It is so important to brand yourself in today's environment. You have producers dropping LPs like artists now," Sha explained.
2008's OSS will include appearances by the likes of Swizz Beatz, DJ Toomp, DJ Quik, 9th Wonder, Young Buck, Kurupt, Talib Kweli and The Outlawz, among others.
In 2007, 0ver 700 producers from around the world attended OSS. Producers were flying in from Africa, Bermuda, and the UK.
