After three weeks on the charts, Alicia Keys manages to stay within the Billboard 200's top 3.
This week, the singer's new album, As I Am, slipped just one spot to no. 3, according to Neilsen's SoundScan, selling 257,400 more copies putting her total sales at 1,349,600.
Later down the line is Chris Brown's sophomore release, Exclusive, which drops to no. 11. The album, which features guest appearances from The Game, Big Boi and T-Pain, scans 73,300 more copies this week.
Mr. American Gangster, Jay-Z, slides to no. 17 this week with his film-inspired 10th no. 1 album, selling 52,000 copies. After four weeks out, Jay'z album has yet to reach platinum sales, with a total of only 695,000.
In a slow release week in music all together, this week's biggest debut goes to Miami rapper Pitbull. His new TVT release, The Boatlift, opens at no. 50, selling 22,000 copies.
According to Billboard.com, sales this week (12.26 million units) are down 16.9% from the same week last year (14.75 million). This week's sum is down 12.1% from last week's.
