Re-Live Golden Era Of Hip-Hop With The Ghostface Doll
Published 11/06/2007, by Allen Starbury

As a way to rekindle nostalgia for the "golden era of 90s hip-hop," 4CAST Limited has crafted the official Ghostface Killah doll.

Via Complex magazine, we've learned how intricate the details of this doll are.

The doll's official website claims they wanted to create something timeless and classic. Have they succeeded? Only the fans' demand for it will tell.

The very limited doll has some very distinct features. Everything from the robe and Red Yankees fitted to the signature Wallabee shoes and the jewelry is top notch.

The jewelry in fact, which includes Ghost's classic dinner plate sized medallion and eagle bracelet/wristband, is 14K gold and is made with high detail.

It also talks. It's built with a state of the art electronic voice unit that spews lines recorded by Ghostface himself. Some of the lines include "I put it in em shot up in em deadly venom," "Ghostface, Ghostface," "Remember when I longed d***ed you and broke your ovary," and "Yo bitch I f***ed your friend. Yea, you stank ho."

Upon ordering the doll, it is enclosed in a box that has remnants of Fine Louis XIII cognac. The design on the packaging is a Ghostface monogram print, which includes the eagle and GF logo. On the inside of the box, behind the actual doll itself, is a black and white NY skyline to represent the place where hip-hop and Ghostface come from.

Accompanying the doll is also a mixtape containing 36 of the rapper's greatest hits, mixed by World Famous Beat Junkie, DJ Rhettmatic. Both the tape and the doll have a unique 4CAST product identification number and come with a certificate of authenticity.

The doll sells for $499 a pop via its official website at TheGhostfaceDoll.com.
