Hundreds of fans in Hanover, North Carolina were left disappointed on Sunday (October 21) when Lil Wayne was a no-show for a hyped performance at a local high school.
Although the concert was originally canceled by the New Hanover County School Board over fears of gang violence, but after the rapper's concert promoter filed a lawsuit for breach of contract over the cancellation, an agreement was reached, allowing the Weezy to perform if extra security were provided at the New Hanover High School's Brogden Hall.
Some reports say the show was canceled due to poor ticket sales, but according to TMZ, Lil Wayne was a no show and now fans want their money back.
Several fans at the event couldn't believe the rapper would do that to his fans -- which one of them says he won't have to worry about again because he is no longer a fan.
"He's truly lost a fan," said 19-year-old Everette Grimes told the Wilmington Star. "He'll never have to worry about me supporting anything he does again."
Over 4,000 fans attended, but so far, no refunds given reports local news station, WWAY Channel 3.
