Jay-Z recently revealed that he will embark on a small, five city tour this November in support of his forthcoming album, American Gangster.
Instead of huge stadiums, Jay will perform songs off his new album in a more intimate setting (mid-sized venues) for the American Gangster Live tour, which will hit Los Angeles, Chicago, Baltimore, New York and Philadelphia.
The rapper/executive will kick off the tour at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on November 6, the same day the album, which is inspired by the upcoming Denzel Washington film of the same name, hits stores.
According to XXLMag.com, Jay will also hit Atlanta and Washington D.C. to "reach out and touch the people."
Tour dates for the American Gangster Live tour are as follows:
11/6 - Los Angeles @ House of Blues
11/7 - Chicago @ House of Blues
11/9 - Baltimore @ Ramshead
11/11 - New York @ Hammerstein
11/12 - Philadelphia @ Fillmore
