Although he's had the top single in the country with "Crank That (Soulja Boy), his album SouljaBoyTellEm.com couldn't nab the no. 1 spot for this week's Billboard 200 chart.
Soulja Boy's debut bows at no. 4 instead in its opening week, selling 117,000 copies of SouljaBoyTellEm.com, despite having the no. 1 single for four weeks in a row.
Coming in on Soulja Boy's heels is R&B singer J. Holiday whose debut, Back Of My Lac, grabs the no. 5 position with 105,00 units scanned in its first week, thanks to the hit single, "Bed."
After debuting at no. 2 last week, Keyshia Cole's sophomore set, Just Like You, slips to no. 6 this week, selling 94,000 copies, a 67% drop off from last week's numbers, while Kanye West's Graduation drops another two spots to no. 7 with 92,000 copies.
Also debuting this week is Trey Songz whose album, Trey Day, just missed the top 10, coming in at no. 11 with 72,800 units scan.
The Boyz N Da Hood's latest, Back Up N Da Chevy, opens at no. 51, moving just 15,700 copies.
According to Billboard.com, albums sales this week are down 1.7% compared to last week at 8.9 million units, and are down 14.8% compared to the same week last year.
