Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgett, a member of platinum recording group Danity Kane, has recently teamed up with FlowTV, where she will serve as host for "New On Flow."
The show will be available through Time Warner Cable’s Video-On-Demand and Flow.tv, one of the first on-demand television channel dedicated solely to hip-hop lifestyle, music, culture and trends.
The singer can be seen hosting new episodes of "New On Flow" on Flow.TV.
Woods is no stranger to the camera. She is one of the surviving contestants of MTV's "Making The Band" and went on to achieve chart-topping success with her R&B girl group, Danity Kane, as well as made a cameo in this year's box office smash, "Stomp The Yard," starring Columbus Short, Meagan Good, Ne-Yo and Chris Brown.
In related news, D. Woods has been working on a new mixtape called The Girls Club Vol. 1 with her Atlanta-based songwriting team, The Girls Club, made up of D. Woods, her sister SNL and Mika Means. THe forthcoming tape includes features from Mya, Kelis, Too $hort, Chrisette Michele and Danity Kane co-members Dawn and Aubrey.
Also, despite rumors of Danity Kane breaking up and member Aubrey O'Day joining the Pussycat Dolls, the group have since cleared the air with a statement on their official website.
"Danity Kane is still together and all of us -- Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard and D Woods -- are looking toward to our future together, to taking the industry by storm yet again, and to giving our fans an incredible sophomore album," the group said in a statement. "From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each of you who has continued to support us through the ups and downs of this business. We have every intention of writing, singing, and dancing our way to the top."
