Despite being held on a reported $2 million bail, Dipset affiliate Max B is free after serving seven months behind bars.
It is unclear as to when he was released exactly, but in a video posted on YouTube on Wednesday (July 11), the rapper celebrating his release in the studio with several members of his entourage, as well as Jim Jones.
"Miss me?" Max B tells WhatsPoppin.net cameras, while clutching a bottle of liquor, posing for pictures and displaying his icy watch. "You weren't here earlier, you wasn't outside the jail."
Although the terms of his release are immediately unknown, Max B didn't waste any time getting back to work, as he is shown with a pen and pad in had, ready to lay down new music.
The 28-year-old rapper (real name: Charly Wingate) was serving time behind bars for allegedly masterminding the murder of 29-year-old Florida man, David Taylor, during a botched robbery in September of 2006 in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
A judge set his bail at $2 million in January.
Max B is signed with Jim Jones' Byrd Gang Records, where he is expected to drop his debut. Over his underground career, the rapper has recorded with the likes of Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana.
Last year he dropped The Diplomats & Max B Million Dollar Baby Radio mixtape, which was received well by fans.
