By Jay Casteel   /   Published 01/12/05

With one of the top ladies hip-hop clothing lines called Baby Phat under her belt, Kimora Lee Simmons isn't satisfied with doing just one thing. Nope, she's expanding it into the jewelry market with a new Baby Phat jewelry collection called Diamond Diva.

The new line is being sold through her own Simmons Jewelry Co. and Kimora strives to make her jewelry affordable to everyone and not just to the upper class.

"Simmons Jewelry Co. believes that fine quality diamonds can be affordable," said Kimora. "You don't need to spend a lot of money to live the diamond lifestyle. Everyone can afford to have my look, you can be 'phabulous' at any pricepoint."

The Diamond Diva collection will consist of over 75 pieces, while prices will range from $350 to $3,500 with distinctive themes such as Phabulous, Paparazzi, Grand Entrance and It's All About Me.

Along with the new jewelry collection, Kimora will also introduce a limited edition Diamond Diva watch, which will come in rose gold and diamonds and be priced at $1,495.

The Diamond Diva collection is available at such stores as Bloomingdale's and Marshall Field's stores nationwide.

Already celebs such as Alicia Keys, Mary J.Blige, Naomi Campbell, Star Jones and Tyra Banks have been spotted rocking the new jewelry line.

Simmons Jewelry Co. is a joint venture between M. Fabrikant & Sons, one of the world's largest distributors of polished diamonds and fine jewelry, and Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons.
